The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) set a new benchmark on Tuesday as it staged its first-ever international roadshow at the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground, drawing remarkable attention from global investors at the heart of world cricket.

The landmark event marked a major step in the league’s international expansion strategy. A large number of foreign and local investors attended the roadshow, with many expressing keen interest in acquiring the two new franchises set to debut in PSL 11. Their participation signals the league’s rising commercial appeal and its growing reputation as one of the most competitive T20 tournaments in world cricket.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi hailed the success of the London roadshow, extending gratitude to the administration of Lord’s for hosting what he described as a historic moment for Pakistan cricket. He said the overwhelming response from investors was “extremely positive and encouraging,” reaffirming the PCB’s commitment to elevating the PSL into a globally recognised sporting brand.

“This milestone is not only an achievement for the PCB but also an honour for a peaceful and sports-loving Pakistan,” Naqvi remarked, highlighting the league’s expanding international influence.

With bids for two new teams now officially open, the PSL has entered a decisive phase in its growth trajectory. The success of the roadshow at Lord’s stands as a powerful statement of the league’s ambitions — combining global outreach, commercial expansion, and a strengthened international cricketing footprint.

The PSL’s expansion into an eight-team competition is expected to further raise the league’s profile, attract fresh investment, and create new opportunities for players, fans, and stakeholders as Pakistan cricket continues to make its mark on the world stage.
