Get ready, racing fans! The Lahore Race Club is back in action this Sunday for the second day of its winter meeting, and the six-race card promises some fantastic action. Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect.
The day kicks off with a Maiden race for up-and-comers. Keep your eyes on Good Boy, who’s been named the favorite. We’ve also got Advocate as a strong contender for a top finish, with Bajwa Queen as the dark horse. The race also features Khan Sahib, Haseeb The Great, Augustus, Red Hot, Steel The Show, Timmy, and Barrister.
The second race is another one to watch, with a bigger field of 13 runners. Raftar leads the pack as the favorite, while Al Mabrook is a solid bet for a placed finish. If you’re looking for a long shot, Macs could be the one. The rest of this crowded race includes Fazeel The Great, Royal Stoner, Haseeb Thrill, Thunder Cloud (Krc), Bilal Gates, Jalal Prince, Leo Star, I Shall Lead, Silent Melody, and Thunder Prince (Krc).
Moving on to the third race, we’ve got Yes Commander as the one to beat. Don’t count out Victory Bul Bul, and watch for Rashid Prince as a potential surprise. They’ll be racing against Daddy Cool, Rayaan Prince, Agha Prince, Ehsan, Dohi Choice, Sky Warrior, Thunder Man (Krc), and Jhanbaz.
Race four is the first of our higher-class events, featuring War Command as the favorite. Taj Mahal is a strong contender, and Mera Gondal could be a wild card. The field is rounded out by Cinderella’s Dream, Haseeb Thunder, Great One, Sehar, Gabriel, Nawab Prince, and Azad Mall.
As we get to the fifth race, all eyes will be on Falco. For a placed finish, Yesteryear is the one to watch, while Golden Heart is a fluke. We’ll also see New York City, Al Shouq, Sarkar Raj, and Thunder Boy (Krc) in the mix.
Finally, the day’s main event is the sixth race. The favorite is Redrock, with Luna Afzaal and Nisha also in the running. The race will also feature Dominus and Thunder Star (Krc).
